Debbie's gift of hope and love

Our life changed during the first week of March.  During a routine visit to my Mom's asthma doctor they found an inoperable tumor in between both her lungs involving her bronchi.  Since then, we found out that she has small cell carcinoma that has has metastasized to her right hip, sternum, lymph nodes, and 2 places in her spine.  We have been told she has 8-11 months to live by Dr. Locicero.  We are hoping after 3 rounds of chemo she will go in to some sort of remission or hopefully get better enough to take her on one last vacation with her family so that we will have memories we will never forget.  We will probably be doing this in June or July God willing.  The problem with this cancer is that after you get better it comes back with avengeance.  It usually starts to become immune to chemo and grows quickly, often spreading through the spine to the brain.  I had mentioned medical bills before because we do not have the money to take her on vacation due to medical bills and other expenses related to her illness.  We are just asking for small donations to make my Mom's last wish come true. This is not for medical bills but to fulfill my Mom's last wishes to go to special places as a family.  So that we always have these special memories in our heart.
