Debbie Wessel

Debbie Wessel, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all recently received news that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will start treatment this month.  
This diagnosis has hit Debbie and her family hard and fast - without much time to prepare emotionally or financially. Because of the aggressive treatment regimen, Debbie is unable to work as much as she usually does. Her loving husband, Al, family, and friends will navigate the responsibility of primary caregiver to Debbie. 

 Those of us who have the pleasure of knowing and loving Debbie realize how altruistic she is and know the care she provides is not definable through mere words. Debbie has worked as a caregiver for most of her life , devoting her life to long hours, in a physically and mentally demanding job,  providing care for others while away from her family, and providing care for her family in times of need. We know her devotion is not for financial gain, but for the fulfillment of caring for others. Throughout her years as a caregiver, Debbie has invested her time making a difference within her community, in schools, hospitals, and nursing homes, putting her own life on pause while she managed the daily happenings of those in her care. Debbie’s loving guidance through such hardships is an incomparable asset to her community and her family.

We are truly grateful for all that you do, Debbie!

During this time, we want Debbie and her family to be able to focus on her health and their family without additional stress. We want Debbie and her family to be able to devote the next 12 months exclusively to Debbie's recovery.

Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 to support Debbie and her family during this challenging time. Debbie is not the type to ask for help, so we are asking for her. Let’s help take one thing off her plate so she can focus on kicking some cancer butt!
