Hurricane Irma Recovery for Deb

Earlier this month Hurricane Irma devastated St. Thomas. Our friend Deb lives on the island and works at the Cyril E King International Airport. Deb decided to stay in St Thomas and ride out the storm in a local hotel. After the storm passed she worked to help clean up the hotel and pitched in at the hotel wherever needed. As soon as it was safe, Deb sprang into action getting back to work and checking on her team of employees to make sure they were safe. She has worked tirelessly to offer everyone around her support and assistance throughout the aftermath of the storm. Deb was also instrumental in assisting with the first Humanitarian flight into St. Thomas. Deb’s apartment in St. Thomas sustained damage but is still standing. It is unknown how long she will need to stay in a hotel while repairs are made to her apartment.

Our goal is to raise funds for Deb to rebuild and clean up and to help with expenses while the recovery takes place. We also know what a charitable person she is and how appreciative and dedicated she is to her community so we know the money will not only go to help Deb, but help the community at large.

Deb is the type of person who would do anything to help anyone. Let’s show Deb that we are here to support her and her community in this difficult time.
