In Memory of Kevin Hunt
On August 29, 2018 Mr. Kevin Hunt, my little cousin, unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 33 years old. A man known for his sense of humor, his love for all things music, and a person who valued his friends and simple living. Kevin is survived by his older sister Kerry. Kevin knew suffering at a young age, surviving brain surgery, the loss of his Mother, Kathy and later his Uncle Allen, along with both of his Grandparents. Despite these obstacles in life Kevin maintained his smile, his humor, his friends, and living life ‘his way’. A look at his FB page shows how many people he impacted in his short life. He was loved by friends and family alike. Now, he walks in Heaven with his Mom, Uncle, and Grandparents. I’m sure they welcomed him with hugs and angelic singing. Kevin will be missed by all.
Kevin lived for the moment and there was not even a thought that God would take him so soon. As a family and with friends I’ve started this go fund me to help cover the expenses needed to give him a proper farewell. Every cent will be used to cover expenses incurred with Kevin leaving us so soon. The estimated number of $3000 will cover
transportation, cremation with burial, plot stone (the plot was graciously provided by his Aunt, allowing him to be put to rest next to his Mother, Uncle, and Grandparents). A memorial gathering post-ceremony, and additional unforeseen expenses closing out his humble home. Any amount donated helps, as mentioned above, due to the unexpected death and his simple way of living there is little that Kevin owned. The family is helping cover other parts to honor Kevin’s life, but like many, this process costs more than anyone might anticipate. As Kevin’s older cousin I will see the funds dispersed to cover these costs.

Arrangements are in process, but anticipated to be in the third week of September, 2018. Updates will include finalized information and cost breakdown to faithfully account for any donations.
