Death Can't Take Me - COVID19

Donation protected
This is a documentry film.

On the 24th of March 2020, Simon was diagnosed with the Coronavirus and his life began to deteriorate. Little was known or understood about the virus - with the media just reporting on death in the elderly or individuals with underlying health issues.

Simon's story provides viewers with an in-depth insight into how a fit and healthy man can become minutes away from death. We take a look at a  crucial part of Simon's life, his love and passion for bodybuilding. Not only this but his daily training regime and how he strives to build a complete physique. The extraordinary outcome of one minute being the epitome of health to the next minute being an induced coma fighting for your life.

The film will speak with loved ones, industry experts and medical professionals to expertly un-pick and reveal to the viewer what, where, when, why and how this happened. Simon unlike many defined the odds and showcased true strength, not his physical strength but of his mind.

After 4 weeks in intensive care, Simon was unrecognisable. His strong muscular frame had lost over 5stone of muscle mass - 25+ years of building muscle had been destroyed in less than 25 days.

The film aims to showcase desire, work ethic, no excuses mentality and that anything is possible. We take a look at Simon present-day rebuilding his body, his business, his health and relationships. The human mind is a powerful thing and this film takes a look into the life of a man who looked death in the face and said, Death Can't take me”
