Dealey/Solar Prep Parent Life Lost to Gun Violence

In the early morning hours on Monday, October 28th, Godwin Nkana was fatally shot during an attempted robbery.


Godwin was father to Dealey fourth grader Rufus Nkana . He is also survived by his wife Bukola Ogungbe, two daughters who attend Solar Prep and their oldest daughter who attends Sam Houston University.


Aside from the emotional grief, Godwin's death also brings on many financial burdens as he was the sole provider for his family.
