DEAD on DAMEN: Help restore beloved display

In the early morning of October 13, the carefully cultivated Halloween display DEAD on DAMEN was a victim of theft and vandalism. Hundreds of dollars worth of items are gone or destroyed, and countless man-hours are now in vain.

While the material loss is unfortunate, the cultivators of this display are more upset by the impact the loss has on the community. We wanted to bring a little joy to this tough year and were heartbroken when someone maliciously took that away. 2020 has been a tough year, and the creator wanted to bring a little joy and normalcy to our community.

We are starting this fundraiser with three goals:
1. Replace as many of the stolen items as possible
2. Purchase a security system to deter future theft.
3. Any and all donations that come after the first two goals are met will be donated to My Block, My Hood, My City.

We understand that the impact of COVID has been tough on all of us, so if you cannot donate, please consider sharing this to help us reach our goal.

Thank you!
