This message is from her son Olawale Ajiboye.
My name is Olawale Ajiboye, I’m a 21 year old student. My mother Folasade Ajiboye, passed away suddenly (at the age of 51) on Thursday August 24, 2017. She had been feeling sick for a few weeks and was diagnosed with type-2 diabetes on July 14 2017 but she had issues controlling her blood sugar. On the day she passed away, she woke up like normal and had an apple for breakfast. She sat on the couch to rest and when my younger brother noticed she didn't respond when he spoke to her, he called out to me. On closer inspection, we found she wasn't breathing and right away called our dad who was at work and then called 911.
The next scenes that ensued were very chaotic as paramedics and medical team worked hard to save her, but she was declared dead by noon. It was so surreal and devastating.
She was such a loving mother to us; it still feels like a dream and we miss her so much it hurts. The tears can't stop flowing.
Her unexpected death leaves behind my Dad, my 14 year old brother (Adedamola) and I in desperate need of financial help to cover her funeral expenses. My father works part-time; and my mother was unemployed at the time of her death. Right now, we don’t have a set date for her funeral because we don’t have the funds available. Any donation amount would help as it will go towards the goal of the funeral cost.
My family would greatly appreciate your prayers and financial assistance. Thank you very much and God bless you.
