Funeral Expenses For BJ Phongsavad

Hello Family, Friends, Colleagues, and whoever else may be reading,
On September 12th, 2017 at 10:50 AM, we lost a father, son, brother, friend and genuine person in a tragic way. BJ was a kind and caring person, who always brought positivity and good vibes to everyone that came in contact with him. He was always there for anyone who needed it, whether he was beat boxing, rapping, or preaching about government theories. BJ always did whatever he wanted and didn't care too much to follow the rules. No matter how big and tough he may have seemed, he was kind and gentle to all.
Friday night, BJ was enjoying himself with a few friends having a beer. He began having a seizure, and he was helped by his friends onto his side. The seizure continued and he began vomiting. He started to choke on his vomit. By the time the EMTs arrived, his heart stopped but they were able to bring him back. Unfortunately, throughout the night his heart stopped three more times. During all those stoppages, there was no flow of oxygen to the brain. This lack of oxygen caused severe damage which he was unable to recover from. His family was told there would be a 72hr time frame before the doctors could make any decision. In those 72hrs BJ got to spend his last moments with his family and closest friends by his side. After a long hard fight, we had to make the decision to let him go.
We loved BJ so much and although his life may have been cut short there were so many people he was able to touch in this world. BJ had an infectious energy we all loved to be around him. As a family, we appreciate the love and support from everyone. We are in the stages of planning the funeral services. Everything will take place in Lowell, Massachusetts, where he was staying with his mother and grandmother. Once details are finalized, we will update everyone. We would appreciate any donations to help us with our outstanding medical and funeral expenses. This is all so sudden and shocking to us. Thank you again for coming together with us in this rough times. BJ would want as many people to come together as one and celebrate the great 25 years he was able to live on this beautiful Earth.
