Theatre Arts Textbooks

My name is Stephen Ingle and I am a Theatre Arts teacher at Rocky Mount High School in Rocky Mount, NC. I am reaching out to you today in an effort to raise money to purchase textbooks for my Drama classes. After exhausting every other possibility to obtain these much needed books, I have created this fundraising page. While we have all leapt headfirst into the 21st century through the use of technology, I still find textbooks to be an invaluable resource from which to draw lessons. The textbook allows an additional creative path for the students to understand the intricacies of theatre and the world of drama. By covering everything such as acting, improvisation, technical theatre, and theatre history (just to name a few) it is a reliable educational tool not only for the students but for me from which I can create lessons. It is one of many resources I will use in my classroom. In my research to find the textbook "The Stage & The School" I have discovered it is much less expensive to order it directly from the publisher rather than from another source such as Amazon.com.
