Leadership Class Trip: D.C. & N.Y.

Our program is in its 16th year. This will be our 12th trip to the east coast. We have changed lives via this trip. Students, now more than ever, must be stimulated to want to participate in the civics process.
We use NO tour company. NO expensive middlemen. We plan this ourselves-- from meals to airline tickets to using public transportation to also save money.
Our staff pays to go. Nobody gets a free ride. We want our students to be able to go, and every cent they earn from selling candy, washing cars, hosting fundraisers--goes to lower costs. Last year, thanks to people like you, students had an 8 day ALL inclusive trip for a little over $900 per person. Food, air, hotel meals, admission costs--everything.
This year we want to add two days and do NY, DC and Boston.
Please help a worthy cause. This leadership program has been endorsed by elected officials from the mayor of Los Angeles to civil rights icon Congressman John Lewis, who wrote its leader, Steve Franklin, a letter of recommendation for a U.S. Department of Education fellowship. Franklin, a former LAUSD and L.A. County Teacher of the Year, has had the support of the community for a decade and a half. He lobbies airlines and hotel chains for discounts, and makes sure no child is "left behind" for financial reasons.
