Khloe Chanel Thomas was our only baby girl. She was truly the baby, only being 2 years old. We were recently stationed in Okinawa, Japan. We had been there for less than two months when we unexpectedly lost her. We have no concrete answers as to what happened or why.  Needless to say, our family is full of devastation and confusion. It has taken a lot for us to even be able to exist without her these last 2 weeks. We are a loving and hardworking family, that is not used to reaching out for help, so it has taken a lot to even be able to ask for help.  We do understand the necessity of taking the proper steps to piece our family back together while we mourn and recover.

For those of you that are familiar with the military's death gratuity, our family has not received it yet due to the cause of Khloe's passing being unknown. The military is waiting for the results of additional tests before they release the funds which could take upwards of two months.
 
From transitioning back to the states, transporting and finding a proper burial home for our Khloe, the amounting costs have been overwhelming. We have to know what we can get through alone and when we need to ask for help.

So now we ask for help. We appreciate all of the emotional and physical support we have received. We now ask for the kind of help that can possibly stabilize this family once again.
