NTRODUCTION AND WORK

This page as been created to raise funds for several ongoing projects by FOR A BETTER WORLD FOUNDATION.
FABWF was found in 2013 with the intention to provide, support and help improve existing non-profits organisations in Africa.
In 2013 with the help of the foundation´s friends we have build a sport court inside Daylove school, a local school and shelter located in the slums of Nairobi. The court serves as recreation center for the school´s students and local neighbourhood.
The foundation continue supporting the center trough severals occasional fundraiser in which school material and school fees are provide.
In 2016 FABWF donated infant supplies ( dippers, towels, medicine ) to a mother´s shelter In Karibu, outside Nairobi. The shelter supports teens mother and their infant trough their pregnancy and first years of life so the women can continue their studies.

WHO  AM I ?
After a long time of search I had found my self volunteering in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. 
Didn't take me long to realise that was my true calling. 
Sine the I have been coming back to this beautiful vulnerable city in search of projects that needs help developing. 
Since the birth of my two daughters i have taken less time working on the field however the work continues from here in Barcelona where I currently organise small fundraisers to help cover my volunteering expenses and donations. 
This events also serves to help raise conscious about the reality of our world and encourage more people to volunteering. Did you know that you can volunteering for even less then a week? But you might think there is no munch you can change in 3 days. Well think again. If each person volunteer for even one hour  per month, the world would be a better place.
