Please help my mom and my brother Sarne in Sudbury, Ontario. Last Thursday afternoon, the pond behind my family's home flooded due to a blocked culvert which had not been properly maintained by the city. The entire bottom floor of the house was submerged in 4 feet of water, destroying everything inside. The walls, 2 kitchens, flooring, the furnace, and every single item inside was destroyed and has to be removed and replaced. The homeowners insurance will only cover 20k...while the estimated cost to replace everything which has been lost is well over 60k. My brother Sarne my and 70-year old aunt were living in this space and have now lost their homes and ALL of their posessions including their electronics, photos, and appliances. They desperately need help as they now have no place to live and no money with which to begin construction until the insurance pays out--6 weeks from now.

My family is living in hotel rooms now and are feeling lost and overwhelmed. Sarne has lost everything he once owned. My aunt is in her seventies and now has no home and no posessions. Please help...every dollar will count and will make a difference in their lives. They are devastated and trying to cope with their loss. We appreciate everyone's support so much!
