Dawn Champ Cancer Treatment

It is with extremely heavy hearts and great trepidation that we are reaching out to our family and friends for help.  

Our precious daughter, Dawn, was diagnosed with salivary gland cancer several months ago and we recently discovered that she also has metastasis of the liver.  She has done extensive research and has spoken with countless medical professionals in her search for an effective and successful pathway to healing.  The past eight months, Dawn has navigated through the extreme emotional peaks and valleys of her diagnosis with profound grace and firm faith in the Lord.  Her main concern has always been to protect her family and do her best to maintain a semblance of normalcy. 

All these months, she has been diligent with a holistic treatment.  Unfortunately, these unconventional treatments have not been covered by her insurance and it caused a financial hardship .. but not one that we couldn't manage as a family ... until now.  

For those that know Dawn, you know that she always puts others before herself. She will offer to help anyone but will typically not ask for help from others. 

After much prayer, research, medical tests, scans and consultations, Dawn's healing journey will very soon include receiving cancer treatment at a wellness center in Arizona for 6-8 weeks.  The cost for this treatment can be up to $10,000 each week of which the majority will again not be covered by insurance.  The treatment center is an outpatient facility so the family will also incur lodging expenses.  Dawn's devoted husband, Troy, will travel and be with her for the duration of treatment.  Although it will be extremely difficult to be away from their children during this time, the children will remain on the east coast with family.    

Many have asked "What can we do to help?" ... First and foremost, and all Dawn has ever asked, is that she be lifted up in prayer for complete and total healing.   However, we have now come to a point in her treatment that reaches far beyond our financial means.  We graciously ask that if you have the desire and the financial means to help relieve some of this financial burden, we will be humbled and extremely grateful.  No donation is too small.  

Our desire is for them to be able to focus solely on their family and Dawn's healing journey.
