Davis Family Displaced by Nashville Tornado

Hi everyone my name is Deshante and my twin Ebony and I are the sole caregivers of 5 girls ages 9,13 17 18 and 19. All girls attend school except one. We were asleep in our beds when the Super Tornado tore through our home. My roof actually feel on me as I laid up to look out my window and could actually see we were in the funnel! I thank god for providing me with the extra strength to fight the falling walls surrounding me! I was able to reach my 17 year old niece who was stuck in her room and somehow by the grace of God dragged her out. We took shelter all the way in the back in my twin sisters room. She was laying on top of her little girl protecting her from falling debris.  When I say God has been so good to my family that's exactly what I mean. My village in Nashville has been nothing short of amazing but we have a long way to go. With the decision to move actually this month we retired our renters insurance at the end of February! Nothing in my home is covered period. Both vehicles have to be assessed for damage.  Starting over is easier said than done. We have 2 girls actually graduating high school in a few months, one headed to middle school. and the other almost in high school. Our girls are smart and we definitely don't want anything to distract them from their goals. If god lays it on your heart to give please do. If you can't it's okay please say a  prayer for the Davis Girls.
