David Stoll passed away on September 15, 2017 at the age of 33.  David departed this world way too soon, leaving behind Beth, his beloved wife, and his 3-year-old son, J.P.  He loved being a father, and was dedicated to his family.

David was an employee at Columbine Valley Liquors for a little over a year.  He became a fixture here,  creating a friendly, geniune atmosphere. Customers would often come in asking for him.  David always had a smile on his face, a laugh deep in his belly and horror movie t-shirt on his chest, sharing his joy with all.  Our store will never be the same without him.

He was generous and kind, and was cherished by his coworkers and regular customers alike.  So much so, that many of our customers have asked to contribute financially to help family through this difficult time.


David's wife, Beth, initially declined our offer to start a campaign for the family.  Ever the dependable family man, David had a life insurance policy, which covered funeral and transitional expenses. 

However, the outpouring of love and sorrow, and the desire to give in his memory has been so strong, that we have decided to set up this campaign as a way for friends, loved ones, and customers to pay tribute to David by giving to support what was most precious to him:  his wife and young son.  

Michael, the owner of Columbine Valley Liquors, will manage the funds until the end of the campaign, at which time, he will present a check to Beth and JP,  with the request that she use the funds for JP's health, well-being, and/or future education.
