David's Surviving Leukemia Fund

As of Feb 26th our son was diagnosed with Type  T Lymphoblastic Luekemia.  this has come to us a big shock and has turned this family a little upside down.  Our son David is 13 going on 14 this April, he is the kid who is always happy and goes with the flow of life.  He's a football player, a video game lover and just an over all sweet and kind hearted teen.  When we told our son of his news his words were " can they cure it?" Once we explained that they can and will do everything to make sure he has a long life he told us "then there is no reason to be depressed"   His strength in dealing with this new life gives his mother and I and great sense of pride.  We always knew what an amazing son we had and now the world will know as well.

With this news comes alot of changes for his mother and I along with his siblings.  We are reaching out to our family and friends during this time of need.  We are not sure what cost and expenses are ahead of us but we want to do our best to make sure our family is provided for and that David has everything that he needs during this time.  Any amount will go along way and greatly appreciated by this family.
