On the morning of December 30, 2017, we have suffered the sudden unexpected tragic loss of beloved family, friend, husband, and father David Mitchison, 59.
Dave was such a carefree, laid back, selfless friend. He had a great sense of humor! He was a hard worker and always willing to help anyone. He loved to hunt with his children and father and loved spending time with his family. Dave and Amy's 24th anniversary would be coming up this month. Dave was Amy's soulmate and best friend. They were always joking around and having fun.
With the sudden loss of a loved one, it unfortunately often means a loss of income for the family. Trying to adjust to manage finances, whilst at the same time having to find funds for a funeral can impact hugely on the health of the family who are already grieving.
If you would like to donate, just click on the donate button and donate whatever you can. If you are not able to donate don’t forget you can still leave messages and comments for Amy and the kids to read.
The money will be used to cover the costs associated with this tragedy, memorial costs and help Amy get back on her feet, on a path to moving forward.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 4th from 6-8pm at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
