Help our friends in Puerto Rico

Like many Puerto Rican residents, my friends Dave Mansfield and his wife Lynn Descoteau were devastated by Hurrican Maria. Dave is a died-in-the-wool Texan and Lynn is a true New Englander, so both are too proud to ask for help. That's why I'm asking you to join me in helping them get back on their feet.
For years, Dave worked as a video cameraman and Lynn as a TV producer, before moving to Puerto Rico to build their retirement business. After overcoming a ton of government red tape and general apprehension of them as outsiders, they finally gained permission to install a boat dock in Ponce, PR for public access where one did not formerly exist. In fact, they invested their entire savings to build a beautiful 80' and a 150' dock. While the large dock miraculously survived this Category 5 storm, the smaller one was destroyed. Since they had no insurance, even once they do regain power and water at home, their very livelihood is now in question.

Just to tell you a little about my friends, I'm sure you can tell by the picture that David has never met a stranger. Having served our country as a Marine in Vietnam and blessed with natural southern hospitality, David's the kind of guy who is always there for others, whether it's just a smile, a kind word or a charitable act. Similarly, Lynn thinks of others (mostly animals) first. Since moving to Puerto Rico, she has founded an animal rescue league and regularly places neglected and abandoned animals with families all over the U.S. I'm mentioning this because these are two people who spend their time regularly contributing to their community and caring for the welfare of others. Now they need our help.
If you're a recreational boater, a Marine, an animal lover, a senior who understands what it's like to see your life savings disappear or just a human being with a desire to help another in need, please help my friends repair their dock and regain their livelihood. And please share this with your friends over social media, so that we can spread the word. Thank you.
