David's Medical Journey

In the early hours of Tuesday August 21st David, a type 1 diabetic since the of age nine, woke up extremely sick to his stomach due to what was thought to be dehydration after a pretty intense day at work on Monday. After trying to go into work that morning he just  wasn't able to do so.  After reaching out to his director to let him know, David was told to just bring in a doctor's note once things were resolved. . After evaluation at the local ER they quickly realized he was in kidney failure and admitted him right away. After 3 days of intense pain and vomiting David was put on dialysis to clean his blood and give his kidneys a break in order to help them to start functioning  again correctly.  The doctors are expecting him to make a full recovery, but it's going to be a long and slow process. As of now they are anticipating David to be out of work for at least two more weeks and will continue  the dialysis treatment 3 times a weeks until his kidneys are fully functioning on their own. 

David recently took a new job and unfortunately has not been with them long enough to be eligible for FMLA or sick leave. As a family of four with two small children this leaves his beautiful wife Cindy to carry the load not only emotionally but physically and financially.  As you can imagine the expenses between everyday living and medical bills will amount quickly. Any donation  to help with these expenses would be greatly appreciated.  No amount is too small. 

 David and Cindy's  faith remains strong and all the prayers and well wishes have been such a blessing to the entire family. Please continue to send prayers as we know that God is in control and will see David through this journey.
