David Klein Recovery Fund

The week before Christmas 2017, David suffered a serious fall outside his home in Scituate, Massachusetts, resulting in a traumatic brain injury.  Through the coma and skull surgeries and multiple medical procedures that followed at one of Boston's best hospitals, David's wife, Mary Beth, and daughter, Rose, have centered their lives around obtaining the best care for David and have been devoted, loving, and positive advocates for David.  

There have been a number of setbacks but we all know that David is a fighter and is also very stubborn.  David is currently receiving top notch care as an inpatient at Spaulding Rehabilitation in Cambridge, and his recovery is expected to be slow and long term.  

David's friends, neighbors, Computershare colleagues, and fellow volunteers from his charitable work have been asking if there is anything that they can do for David and his family.  We have set up this fund to assist David, Mary Beth and Rose as they navigate the unknown and their new normal, including expenses relating to medical care and travel to and from medical facilities.  We also want to assist them in ensuring that David has the best care through every step of this journey.  The Klein family greatly appreciates everyone's thoughts and prayers during this difficult and stressful time.
