David Jarvis' Funeral Fund
Donation protected
My dad, David, was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer in February. The cancer had spread from his lungs to his brain, liver, kidney, adrenal gland and lymphnodes. In March, he did 20 rounds of radiation on his chest and brain. In April, he had a short hospital stay and started chemo. He finished his sixth cycle of chemo in August. His scans showed no visible cancer remaining, so he was supposed to have a three month break and come back in November for new scans. His energy, appetite and fluid intake started declining at the end of September. He was admitted to the hospital and tests and scans showed the cancer returned in his brain even worse. Doctors told us there wasn't anything else they could do. He was discharged and sent home with hospice care. Doctors didn't know how long we had left with him, but he left us after a week and three days of being at home. Any donations will go toward final expenses, as he didn't have life insurance. We appreciate any contributions or shares you can make. Thank you. ❤
