David Honore Memorial Fund

In loving memory of David Honore please join us in honoring his life with a tax-deductible donation supporting his daughter Gabrielle, David’s greatest legacy of all. She was accepted to the Boston Conservatory at Berklee shortly before his passing, and with this college fund his artistic spirit will live through Gabrielle, who plans to study dance, her true passion.

 

David deeply touched the lives of all who knew him. In the words of Reverend Dr. Katie Lancaster, “the song in his heart and the one pouring from his operatic tenor voice was tuned to the language of God’s glory”. He took great comfort in scripture, especially the book of James, reminding all that faith if it is real, leads to faithful living, as reflected in the small acts of grace by each one of us. He believed in James 2:17-22…. faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead....and that faith together with good works is made perfect.

 

So let us come together into God’s Kingdom of living faith, the place of abundance where every generous gift transcends its original bounds by becoming a part of God’s limitless grace, love and work in the world 2Cor 9:10-15. Thanks be to God for life eternal and the blessing of David Honore.
