David Fowler's brain cancer fight

Donation protected

On November 17th my brother in law, David Fowler was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM).  He has had surgery to remove the largest brain tumor, but two others remain.  His memory and motor functions have been compromised and he can no longer be left alone.  While my sister Kelley and other family members have taken time off work to care for him, professional services are necessary.

David fought in the Vietnam War as a member of the Golf Company, 2nd Battalion,  9th Marines 3rd Marine Division.  He was critically injured on May 15, 1975 during the Mayaguez Incident and was awarded a Purple Heart.  Today, he still carries bullet fragments in his body which make MRIs impossible.

David's personal and emotional strength comes from his Marine training and the bonds he made with fellow Marines.  However, that strength is being tested now.  David will begin a regiment of chemotherapy and radiology soon in the effort to extend the time he has with his family and small granddaughters.  Will you please consider helping the Fowlers with the overwhelming financial burden they are facing?

Thank you in advance.
