David Day recovery fund

To the friends and family of David Day. On Saturday December 3, 2016 David was in a very bad car accident. The accident and its cause are still under investigation, but his car ended up under the back of a semi trailer. David had to be extricated and flown to a trauma center. He broke his left leg in multiple places, shattered his right wrist and hand, and unfortunately lost his left arm. He has had to undergo multiple surgeries for these injuries. Thankfully he had no brain injuries or vital organ injuries.

David is working hard, making great progress, and in good spirits. It has been amazing to see the number of people who are giving their time to help care for him and support him in his time of need. Now friends, we are asking for help in the form of donations. Any money we raise will help with travel for his immediate family from Colorado in the near future. In the long run it will help ease the financial strain that months of rehabilitation and high costs of prosthetics will bring.

While we cannot ease his physical burdens, we can work together to ease his financial ones. So we are asking for donations, no matter how large or small, to help our amazing friend David. At first he wasn't sure about reaching out like this for help but he has realized that this is a journey he cannot make alone. It is with David's blessing that we reach out for your help. Thank you.
