David C. Konopki funeral fund

David Craig Konopki was a loving husband, son, father of three, grandfather of five, brother, and friend to many people. He worked as a sports writer for almost 20 years, and really loved his job. Anyone that knew him knew he was always up for a good story and always tried to crack a joke. 
For many years Dave had been suffering from chronic pain from a car accident. He suffered from a ruptured disc that caused him to lose most of his function of his left hand and arm.  This unfortunately took him away from the job he loved so much. 

On Friday, March 30th, Dave passed away suddenly in his home. It came as a complete shock to everyone. It was not expected at all. If you know our family, you know that they are too stubborn to ever ask for any help, but we are struggling a bit to find a way to pay for the funeral. 

Any bit helps. Even if it’s just a prayer for our family. Just know that Dave, my dad, loved every single one of you. And I am sure he will be watching over us everyday.
