Dave's Parkinsons Disease

In April 2012 I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease Plus. What my Dr. said the "Plus" meant was a more aggressive form of the disease. I have continued to work and be a part of the work force with the help of Parkinsons Medicine. Experimenting with different types, mg levels, time of the day dosages etc. My body was not accepting the medicine, it  was making me very ill. So  in November 2014 I had my first Brain surgery which was the installation of a Stimulator  in my brain that would basically wake up that part of the brain in which controls Parkinson's. This procedure is referred to as DBS, Deep Brain Stimulator. The surgery was a success for what it resolved, which was mainly tremors on my right side. And beings I'm right handed, I was happy with the outcome. For the last three years, the symptoms have been getting worse. My speech, stutter stepping, stiffness, slow reaction, leaning to the right etc. Again I went through the med's regiment and nothing was helping. So the decision was made to do the  same surgery to control the left side. I just had the surgery on November 01, 2017. The device is in the "off position right now for another two weeks until my Dr. turns it on will we find out if it was successful. What I need help with is financial. My Disability has fallen to a zero balance and they refuse to extend the funds. They told me that I was a "free loader" and the program is there to help short term, not a lifetime. Anybody that knows me can testify that I am a very hard worker and I am one not to take handouts. With that being said, INEED help financially. My wife works but it's at $16.00 an hour which is not even close to be able to cover our expenses. Our finances have been dwindled down to zero trying to deal with this desease. We would be very thankful for any help that we can get. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
