Dave Yamagata Bone Marrow Transplant

Hi! We (fellow paddlers of Keauhou Canoe Club) are fundraising for Dave Yamagata. He has a condition called Myelodysplastic Syndrome where his bone marrow no longer produces red blood cells. While he is getting blood transfusions to help, he needs a Bone Marrow transplant. The process will take him to the Mainland for 6 months to a year. He is traveling there Feb. 15th for consultations.

Dave has been part of paddling for years. Whether it is Coaching, being on the Board and Committees, Hosting everything from the Yamagata Challenge to rec Races, events and parties, fundraising, volunteering, paddling, he really champions paddlers and supports the sport and the people. He is all in. So let's step up for him and support him. All funds will go directly to him.
