Dave the Flower Guy

If you live in Salt Lake City, you have most likely seen a man driving his tractor around weaving in and out through heavy traffic, towing a lawn mower and a bin full of flowers. That man is Dave Matson. Dave is 59 and has Cerebral Palsy. Cerebral Palsy has not stopped Dave from being a very driven entrepreneur. Dave started mowing lawns in 1972 and started selling flowers in 1980. He continues to do so each day since then. 

Dave had a tractor that could accommodate the far distances that he has to walk each day however, the most recent tractor that he bought off of KSL turned out to be a lemon. The guy he bought it from forgot to mention all of the problems associated with said tractor. So now Dave has to walk anywhere from 10 to 15 miles a day to mow his lawns and try to sell flowers. On top of that, he has to push his lawn mower with one hand and pull the cart of flowers with the other.

This GoFundMe is to help him buy a new tractor so he doesn't have to push everything around. He has a trailer that he can attach to a trailer to make his daily routine much easier. A local dealership is letting him buy a tractor at cost so the $4,000 can get him a solid tractor that hopefully won't have any problems for the foreseeable future.
