Dave Petch needs a helping hand

For those of you who know Dave,  I’m sure the words, good bloke, mate, genuine, and pride all spring to mind. I know Dave because he comes into work to pick up steel for his work. We chat briefly a few times a week. We have a good laugh and we share how proud we are of our kids. We put shit on each other.
We vent on matters that give us the shits.With no starting point to remember, we are mates.
Today, Dave shared with me some news that gave me the shits!
Dave has been battling cancer. The hideous, disgusting disease that affects people that we all know. And on Friday, Dave was informed that the cancer has progressed to Stage  4 and that he was in the fight of his life.
The fight FOR his life!
And where was Dave today? Yep, at bloody work!
Why? Because his treatment is so bloody expensive that he can’t afford to stay away.
When he begins his treatment next Friday, he won’t be able to drive, therefore his ability to work, and earn a living, will be hampered.
The stress of treatment and the future is more than enough to worry about without the added stress of finances.
Dave is too proud to ask for help and I’m sure will get no happiness out of me asking on his behalf, but , he needs our help.
Dave and his family deserve the right to fight this battle 100%
Lets help them by easing the burden of money a little
