Dave & Marcy Nesje House Fire

Our sister, Marcy Nesje, her husband Dave, and their two daughters, lost their home to a fire on January 24, 2022. The house is uninhabitable and we were only able to salvage a small number of their belongings. As they work through this challenging time in their lives, they will need to purchase and replace their entire home. From the most basic of items (food, clothing, toiletries, etc...) to the largest of items (furniture, appliances, kitchen supplies, etc...), their needs will be large and they will be expensive. We've already received numerous requests on how one can help; please accept and utilize this GoFundMe as a way to show your support and desire to help the Nesjes. Though physical things will be much needed in the weeks and months to come, at this time, they have limited space and ability to store such items. If you'd like to contribute and help now, please consider this the best way to do so. The funds raised here will be used to purchase basic necessities while they arrange a more stable living situation as well as purchase and replace household items as their situation allows and as their needs require. If you feel compelled to offer more physical things to meet their needs, please reach out in a few weeks when they have secured a more permanent living arrangement.

Dave, Marcy and their daughters would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to all those that have already reached out to show their support! It has been a very emotional and overwhelming time for their family but the outpouring show of support and love from our community, family and friends has given them the strength and determination to get through this challenging time. Any funds raised in excess of the Nesjes' needs will be used to support other families facing similar hardships. Marcy and her family promises to pay forward every show of support in this time of need!
