Dave loved guitars, cars, music, and most of all, my Aunt Donna.
They met 20 years ago in Florida, and have been each other's rock ever since then. He was the Lewis to her Clarke, the Peanut Butter to her Jelly, and the stars to her moon.
Dave and Donna have been through a lot together over the years. The hospice care and subsequent loss of both of their parents, several moves across the country, a house fire, and other ups and downs; but they always had each other through it all. The two of them were half of each others whole world.
For reasons no one will really, truly know, Dave unexpectedly took his own life Wednesday morning the 25th of October outside their home in South Carolina.
All donations raised will go towards cremation costs and helping Donna move forward with love from her friends and family as she moves down south to be with her Daughter and leave the home her and Dave had lived in (as it is too painful being there right now). We welcome your kind thoughts, hopeful prayers, cheerful memories, and any words of encouragement or sympathy that will help on the path of healing and moving forward from this heartbreaking loss that we are all feeling with Donna.
Per the requirements of GoFundMe, I am required to disclose my relationship to Donna as well as who will be the beneficiary of this money to give to Donna. My name is Amanda Pollock, and I am her brother, Ed Pollock's, daughter; and Donna's niece. LaDona Dinki Wheeler, her daughter, will be accepting the money as Donna's beneficiary, to disburse to her.
