Please meet Davan King, the most strongest and amazing Diva we know!!!
She was diagnosed with CHARGE Syndrome at birth. She has undergone several procedures and surgeries from heart surgery, tracheotomy, GJ tube and triple endoscopy's. At 6 months old she was on ECMO (life support) for 17 days. Davan is on a ventilator for 22 hours out of a 24 hour day and depends on 1 liter of continuous oxygen.
She recently was hospitalized for low phosphorus which depleted her calcium when they started to correct the phosphorus. She then caught a cold, flu
and pneumonia in the hospital. Last week she had an Angiogram performed to repair a vein in her lung and as always she continues to fight with grace
and keep a beautiful smile on her face.
She has been from St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, IN to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN to currently being in Cincinnati Children's hospital in Ohio. Her parents, David and Delia King continue to search for the best possible care they can get for their baby girl. With that comes extra financial expenses from every day hospital/home care to travel and lodge.
As her family, we are setting up an GoFundMe account to support the King's with their daily endeavors.
