Zero’s vet bills

Hi everyone,
I’ve started this in hope of some help towards Zero’s vet bills and post operation rehab.

I know times are tough for everyone, which is why I was really apprehensive about doing this. I feel embarrassed to have to do this, but as someone told me, it’s okay to ask for help sometimes. 

Zero is the light of our lives. She’s the sweetest girl, loves people, and loves to play. But for the last 6 months she’s been suffering. 

Zero was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia in her left leg. The x-rays are really scary and we know that she was either born with it or got it very young. She never showed any signs of  discomfort until this year, so we had no idea.
Unfortunately, along with that we also found out that she has some sort of liver issue, where she was nearing potential liver failure. At this time, we still don’t know what the cause is.
After over 4 months of medication (pain killers, anti inflammatory pills, liver enzymes, and antibiotics), and many blood tests, she’s finally at a place where we can proceed with the surgery safely. We are doing an FHO surgery. But with that comes months of post rehab, where we will have to strengthen her muscles and hope her body builds cartilage in order to support the leg. The vets say she is a good candidate, so we are hoping this surgery doesn’t fail. Along with the rehab, we will still need pain medication and we will have to continue to treat her liver.

Zero is our entire world, and watching her suffer daily is heartbreaking.
Any amount of money will really help us out.
