Hello everyone! I am Bev, Darryl’s wife of nearly 25yrs Darryl is an aging quadriplegic with a Trumatic brain injury and an uncontrolled seizure disorder. Darryl broke his neck in a hit&run MVA, Father’s Day 1987
For more than 20years now we have been without means of Transportation. Living in Small town Ontario, that means... we have not had access to medical specialist or treatments, we haven’t seen family and we haven’t been able to go out as a couple to anything outside of our neighbourhood.
Darryl’s health declined and finding Transportation seemed to pale in importance. Decades passed. Darryl’s not been outside C’wood in 20 yrs. he’s missed a lot.
But thankfully now we have found some stability in Darryl’s health and we are strong again. Our need for a wheelchair accessible van is stronger than ever. These vehicles are SO very expensive. And If purchased used there is no assistance. New is upward of $70,000
Our hope is to find a reasonably priced used van and if anyone would like to help us we thank you ♥️
