Darryl Fry's Eye Surgery-Halifax

This is Christmas week. A week every Family should be preparing for a happy and healthy holiday season. Some very dear Friends of mine, Angela & Darryl are facing a medical emergency during this time that requires Darryl to travel to Nova Scotia for Eye Surgery with less than 48 hours notice.

Darryl has stuggled  with Vascular Glaucoma for the last couple of years and has already lost most vision in one eye. This medical condition has prevented him from working, driving and doing many of the things he enjoyed.

This past week he had noticed a decrease in vision in his "good eye" and has since learned that he has a blockage behind the eye that will require surgery that cannot be done within our province. They have been advised today that he will need to be in Halifax, Nova Scotia by 9:00am on Wednesday.

This family has already struggled with finances and with such short notice the upfront cost of airline tickets and other expenses they are only faced with more stress and worry at a time when life seems to have them at the lowest point ever.

I know this is a hard time of year to reach in to you pockets to help others but I kindly ask that you consider any help to support this family. Angela and Darryl have been a strong staple in our lives and to see such hard working and caring people struggle so much at what is suppossed to be happiest time of the year is simply heart breaking.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and I can assure that when the next person we know is in a hard spot this couple would be the first to try and bring light back to a dark situation.
