Cigar Box Nation Dan Sleep Benefit

Dan Sleep has been an active member of the cigar box guitar community for many years. For a good part of that time, he helped run CigarBoxNation.com, approving new members, dealing with disputes, and answering uncounted questions and helping uncounted newcomers.

He also ran the Cigar Box Guitars for Service Members program, helping to get dozens of guitars to active duty service members overseas... many of them built and donated by him. He also ran Humidor Guitars, building and selling CBGs along with his FlatPup pickups, which are very popular with cigar box guitar builders.

A few months back, Dan fell ill and they found he had pancreatic cancer. He has been in treatment and has had some setbacks, and is currently back in the hospital. Bills are piling up, disability only covers a portion of his salary, and things are in a bad way.

Please help us support our friend Dan. He has been a BIG part of the cigar box guitar community, and we help our own. We have spoken with Dan via e-mail and he has given his blessing to this fundraiser.
