Danny Trounson - The Gift of Sight
Don protégé
Hi All,
Some of you may not know that my best friend Dallas has a brother Danny who suffers from a series of very rare genetic conditions Retinitis Pigmentosa and not yet officially diagnosed but also Van Maldergem Syndrome.
Retinitis Pigmentosa is essentially the loss of cells in the retina, which means that Danny will eventually lose his eyesight completely. Van Meldergem Syndrome talks to Danny's IQ and skeletal anomalies. Further to this Danny has trouble with his muscles and struggles to walk without a cane.
For those that know Dallas, you will know that she is very private about her family and Danny's situation. Dallas did not want me to put this funding page together, but after seeing her family struggle to support Danny with full time care, his ever growing medical needs and the recent changes with the Victorian Government NDIS funding (which have not gone in Danny's favour) I am here to encourage your assistance.
Danny is a wonderful man who loves his footy (Doggies doggies doggies woof woof woof), his family and is quite the ladies man at his care house! ;)
If we can all assist to even just put in $5 - $10 to help Dallas and her family purchase this amazing piece of vision technology the 'clear reader' that would help beyond belief!
https://shop.visionaustralia.org/shop/product/clearreader
This is my birthday wish this year and I hope you can all help me make it come true.
I appreciate any support you can give and cant wait to hopefully share some pics of Danny trying out his new clear reader if we reach our goal.
Big love,
Taz x
