Danke's surgery

Hello! This is my sweet fur baby, Danke. Danke is a miniature daschund that means the world to me. She is the sweetest dog you will ever meet, and has been my best friend for the past 11 years. Three years ago, Danke was diagnosed with inflammatory brain disease. She had a bad reaction from some antibiotics she was taking, and it caused a gland in her brain to swell. She lost her eyesight, her ability to walk, and her happy personality. Her neurologist was able to cure her and get her back to herself 100%. With that taken care of, her mama was able to breathe again. However, this past August, Danke had another trip to the emergency room when she ruptured a disc in her back. The same doctor treated her, and after talking about everything he found we decided that the best option was surgery. There was no time to wait, and he did the surgery the same week. After her 5 night stay in the hospital and her surgery, she has just completed 8 weeks of physical therapy. Danke is able to walk, run, and play again! She is still a little wobbly at times, but I am so thankful to have my sweet baby back to her sweet self. I am an elementary school teacher, and am now faced with an extremely large vet bill for her surgery and therapy. All money raised will go directly toward that bill!Any little bit that you can do will help, and Danke and I will be forever grateful!
