The Jackson family has been dealing with a serious health crisis. Dan Jackson fell ill and was admitted to the hospital on January 22. Shortly after his admission, Dan suffered a cardiac event and coded. Fortunately, the doctors were able to resuscitate Dan, but he ended up spending the next 9 days in the ICU on life support.  Dan is out of the ICU but is now dealing with a host of problems resulting from the medicines used to save his life while he was in the ICU.  Dan's kidneys and liver are in acute failure, and it remains uncertain at this time if they will fully recover.  Dan is facing the very real possibility of needing a liver transplant, and he requires dialysis to replace his kidney function.
We are blessed that Dan is still with us today. However, he still has a long road ahead of him with many challenges for his recovery.
