A GoFundMe page has been set up for the Daniels family. This family of 6 needs our support more now than ever before. As you read below the update on Jerry and his wonderful family please picture yourself in their place. It is a tough time of year some might say to ask people to give, but if you really think about the meaning behind Christmas, it is a time for giving and this family could use our prayers and support.
Jerry was diagnosed 6 years ago with a brain tumor. He underwent surgery in August of 2015 to remove the tumor. They were able to remove 90% of the tumor but could not remove it all due to the location of the tumor. He has been undergoing Chemo and other cancer treatment all the time trying to work and support his family. He was recently told that his tumor is growing so they are going to stop his current chemo regimen and start him on a different one. Surgery is not an option because of location. He was told that he will need to quit working altogether so that he can rest the way he should have been the last 2 years and the weakness he will experience due to the extensive treatment.
Lyn recently started working full time in August to help out but she has taken a lot of time off work to take Jerry to appointments, and help him at home. She has been blessed that her employer has been very understanding. The Daniels family will need to sell their home and Jerry’s business closed the doors this week. Please again I ask you to walk in their shoes for just a few minutes. I just can’t imagine what they are going through.
They are starting off already over $5000.00 in debt with only Lyn’s income now coming in. Jerry will not get any type of Social Security until March or later. They still have just basic needs that we all have.
