Danielle's Fibro Fight

We are Abby, Alison and Michelle, and we’re fundraising for our friend, Danielle S., who is fighting fibromyalgia, anxiety and depression. All of these illnesses become worse with stress and fatigue.

Regardless, Danielle has inspired hundreds of parents across the country to raise anti-racist children through her site Mamademics, while simultaneously raising two young children of her own and taking extra jobs to support her family through the pandemic.

Life hasn’t let up on Danielle this year: The end of her 10-year marriage and the deaths of several close family members have heightened the already-debilitating effects of her fibromyalgia, leaving her in a great deal of pain with limited capacity to work.

Danielle’s work and words helped us map a way through the social upheaval of the last five years, and push us to work for better for our children. She is fiercely independent and would never ask for help—so we’re asking for her
