Danielle's Army

As sometimes more than most, bad news comes when you least expect it. Last Thursday, Danielle received the news no one wants to hear. Especially not a single mother! What we thought was just a cyst in a tiny picture turned out to be stage 3c Ovarian Cancer. We were told she will likely start her 1st round of chemo early next week as this is very aggressive cancer. We know Danielle is a fighter, man is she a fighter! 10 years ago she survived a brain aneurysm and continued blessing us with her outgoing personality. As we know she will not let this “C” word get her down, she is prepared to fight like she has never fought before.

But, the financial burden of this single mama is an additional worry she should not have to endure right now. The doctors have advised Danielle that she is to no longer work as she undergoes chemo for this unknown amount of time currently (Should have more updates next week). This leaves a huge strain and added stress of keeping a roof over their head, food on their table and the lights on as just the bare minimum.

Danielle is more than strong, she is fierce, she is outgoing and definitely in her fighting spirits at the moment. She has an army of people who are standing behind her helping her along this next hurdle to overcome. When they say it takes a village, they aren’t lying. Her support system is like no other.
