Just after 10am on January 13th, Danielle Drouin was in a very serious car accident:

She was airlifted by #STARS to Calgary Foothills hospital in critical condition with a spinal injury.
Her boyfriend Ollie was injured and is now released from hospital.
Surgeons operated on her neck and spine for over 6 hours. She now has 16 tubes/lines attached to her.
She has started to communicate via an alphabet board you can see in the top photo. PROGRESS!
Currently there is no movement or feelings below the pelvis and the prognosis is not favorable. BUT we do believe in miracles don't we?!
Doctors are saying she will have to stay there for at least a month.
Dani is strong...it's our turn now to help her and her family.
My brother, Rob (Dani's Dad) is currently running 2 businesses and Jen, (Dani's Mom) works full time and is a full time mom to AJ and Maddy (Dani's little brother (11) and sister (8)
They have been sleeping at the hospital beside Dani. She does not want them to leave.
I created this #GOFUNDME account for Danielle and her family. You just never realize how devastating this is until it happens to your family. There are so many expenses!
They need to pay for transportation back and forth from Calgary to Magrath, they need to eat! They have to cover the costs of living in Magrath without bringing in the dough.
Someone I love very much once said: everyone always says, call me if you need anything!?
