Daniela has brain cancer stage 4, glioblastom epiteloid stage IV.
Daniela is my cousin, more like my sister. She lost her mother when she was just a child. Her father did not take care of her. She just bounce from a relative to another.
From than moment on she learned to manage everything by herself, she never ask for any help by contrary she tried to help everybody. It was not a easy road for her.
She was found unconscious on the floor, with epileptic crises. She suffered temporary memory loss, and was not able to use her right hand.
She underwent an emergency brain surgery for one of the 3 tumours, to ease the pressure in the skull.
We received the results, she is diagnosticated with brain cancer stage 4 at only 47 years old.
Now she developed an infection.
She lives in Romania, and I'm trying to help her from here in Canada.
She needs to start fast a chimiotherapy treatment for the 2 other tumours that are not operable.
She can not start because of the missing hospital medicine.
In Romania, the hospital ask us to provide the medication, the
Temodal - Temozolomide, 140mg/day for 44 days. Is a chemotherapy drug for glioblastoma multiform. We are trying to buy it but is very expensive. In Germany is 720EURO for 5 pills. And we need this medication very fast.
Her only child, a daughter dropped everything to take care of her. She put all the shock aside and is searching day and night how to help her mother.
We are hoping for a miracle, for her to have a chance at life, to give her joy and to put her first as she always did with us, so she can have a little more time and happy moments.

Daniela este verisoara mea, mai mult o sora. Si-a pierdut mama cand era inca copil. Tatal ei nu a avut grija de ea, a fost plasata din ruda in ruda. Din acel moment a invatat sa se descurce cu toate singura, nu a cerut niciodata ajutor pentru nimic, dimpotriva, a incercat sa ajute pe oricine. NU a fost un drum usor pentru ea.
A fost gasita inconstienta pe podea, cu crize epileptice. A suferit pierderi temporare de memorie si imposibilitatea de a-si folosi mana dreapta . A fost operata pe creier pentru una din cele trei tumori pentru a elibera presiunea din craniu. Dupa rezultatul biopsiei,a fost diagnosticata cu cancer cerebral de stadiul 4 la numai 47 de ani. Acum a facut si o infectie la plaga operatorie.
Daniela traieste in Romania, iar eu incerc sa o ajut de aici, din Canada.
Are nevoie sa inceapa rapid chimioterapia pentru celelalte 2 tumori ce nu sunt operabile ( se afla in profunzimea creierului), dar nu poate incepe din cauza lipsei de medicamente in spital (si in Romania). Spitalul ne-a cerut sa facem noi rost de medicatie din cauza acestei crize generale in tara: Temodal-Temozolomide, 140mg/zi pentru 44 zile. Este un medicament citostatic pentru glioblastomul multiform. Incercam sa il cumparam din alta parte dar este foarte scump. In Germania, 5 pastile (pentru 5 zile) costa 720 euro, iar noi avem nevoie cat mai rapid de aceasta medicatie.
Singurul ei copil, o fata, a lasat la o parte totul ca sa poata avea grija de ea. A trecut peste tot socul si cauta zi si noapte solutii pentru a-si ajuta mama.
Speram la un miracol, ca ea sa mai aiba o sansa la viata, sa o bucuram si sa o punem pe primul loc asa cum a facut ea mereu cu noi, sa mai aiba timp si cateva bucurii.
