On Saturday, September 7th, around 11:40am we lost our beloved Daniel Noah Peterson to a fiery tanker accident near South Lake Tahoe. Daniel was driving a gasoline tanker truck eastbound on Hwy 50 when a Prius illegally turned out in front of him. He attempted to avoid the Prius and authorities have said that his quick, heroic actions spared the Prius driver’s life. Daniel was a devoted life partner to his deeply loved girlfriend Bri (pronounced Brie) Joppa, as well as a treasured son, brother, coworker, and friend.
We recently learned upon his passing that Daniel and Bri are expecting their first child due March 2020. This news has become a huge beacon of hope amidst such horrific tragedy to all who know and love them.
With his unexpected passing, Bri is now left emotionally devastated and is faced with many frightening unknowns and financial hardships for both her and their unborn child. This memorial fund has been set in place to try to help offset the financial aspects of this unfortunate situation, and allow Bri time to mourn Daniel as well as develop a plan moving forward. All proceeds will go directly to Bri and their child.
