This is our fourth year raising money for one lucky SBHS graduate. Each year, we will select an SBHS college bound senior who has a good chance to to do great things for the world. To pick the recipient, we will review anything the applicant wants to share with us, which could include essay, transcript, resume, charitable works, art, business plans, etc.
We choose to name this scholarship in honor of our classmate, Daniel Grandin. Losing his battle with Leukemia during high school, Danny left a lasting impact on our community. He taught many of us what it means to be resilient and to fight against unfavorable odds. He embodied the kind of spirit we hope to support with this class scholarship. We continue to serve his memory and keep his champion spirit alive with this important scholarship in his name.
A few members of the Class of 1994 have volunteered to pick the winner. Thank you to all who have contributed in the past and continue to give each year.
