Daniel E Brown Memorial Fund

My husband, of 575 months, Dan, passed away April 23. He heroically fought pancreatic cancer for 15 months. The whole time we battled cancer, he had the goal to run the Bay to Breakers for the 44th time. He wasn’t working during his cancer battle, as all his energy was used to try to beat this awful disease. We used up our life savings. We live in California where the cost of living is very expensive. I am struggling to come up with money to have a funeral and bury Dan. Expenses are piling up, and it’s very overwhelming.
