The 2019 Dandelion Scholarship Fund

We invite you to join us in a celebration of Beltane and the 2019 Dandelion Gathering by making a donation to the 2019 Dandelion Gathering Scholarship Fund.

In this fundraising drive, we want to invite EVERYONE TO DO IT.  We don't care how much you donate - $1, $5, $20, $100, $1000 - we just want you to be a part of this fundraising explosion. If you aren't able to donate, can you share about the fundraiser on your personal Facebook page, in your community group, or elsewhere? We have no financial goal for this fundraiser but we do have a goal of 75 people donating between April 17th and May 5th, which is "astrological Beltane", the actual cross-quarter day between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice.

We know that scholarships are just one part of making an event accessible, but an important part. As we continue to ask questions and have conversations around what our Dandelion will look like, we welcome in the ecstasy and sexiness of Beltane.  What can this season teach us about communication, shared purpose, and taking delight in each other? What can we learn about how to nurture community with playfulness and pleasure? What can we learn about the magic of coming in deeper relationship?  What mysteries of love, commitment, generativeness and joy are we able to open ourselves to?

We ask you to come on this journey with us, bringing your own power and wisdom along with what Beltane lends us. As Adrienne Maree Brown asks in her groundbreaking work Emergent Strategy, what is the conversation only this group of people can have? How can we engage and emerge and interact and intersect in new ways?  How can we open ourselves up to the possibility of falling in love with each other all over again? We renew our invitation to our various Reclaiming communities - be they covens, geographic communities, guilds, groups of friends, training groups, etc - to gather together. Dream, vision, make magic. Talk, debate, and discuss. And share with us what you have uncovered.
